James H. Baumgardner, 82, of Umatilla, Florida, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2020. Born in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, he moved to Lake County in 1983 from Maryland. He was a Chief Petty Officer in the U.S. Coast Guard prior to his retirement. James was a member of the Praise Cathedral Church Of God, Eustis, FL, where he was also an Out Reach Chaplain working with and visiting the residents of Bayview Nursing Center and The Ruleme Center of Eustis. James was a welding instructor at Vo Tech of Eustis. James is predeceased by his Wife, Mildred "Millie" Baumgardner (1989) and Wife, Ruby E. "Liz" Baumgardner (2017); Son, James "Jim" Baumgardner Jr. (2015), and Brother, Bob Baumgardner. He is survived by his Daughter, Debra Garner of Umatilla, FL; Brother, Glen (Sarah) Baumgardner of Raleigh, NC; Daughter-in-Law, Tammi Baumgardner of Eustis, FL; Grandchildren; Nicki (Dale) Garner of Maryland, Michael (Aubrey) Garner of Maryland, Stephi Ciotti of Maryland, Timothy Garner of Florida, and Robert Durkin of Florida; Great Granddaughter, Emily Buckingham; and Numerous Nieces, Nephews and extended Family and Friends. Services will be held at Harden/Pauli Funeral Home Chapel, Eustis on Monday, July 20, 2020 at 6:00 PM. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM till 6:00pm prior to the service.
