J. Eileen Leifer, 96, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, December 27, 2020. Born in Mogadore, OH, she was an accomplished pianist and a “Rosie the Riveter” at Goodyear Tire and Rubber, Akron,OH, during World War II. Eileen was admitted into the Rosie the Riveter National Historic Museum, Richmond, CA, November, 2020. She married Paul Leifer, Jr. and they lived in Napoleon, OH, where they ran Leifer Heating and Sheet Metal, attending St. Paul Lutheran Church, and enjoyed the American Legion, and community activities. She was the last surviving member of the The Ladies Bridge Club which met for over 50 years. After the death of her husband, Paul, Eileen moved to be near family in Mount Dora, FL. In Florida, she volunteered at Mount Dora High School, was active in church and Bible study at the Cross, Mt. Dora, and truly enjoyed her neighbors. Eileen loved her family, friends and her Lord. She is survived by daughter, Judy Leifer Nutter and husband, Ralph. Mt. Dora; granddaughter, Angella Bundz and husband, Sam, Eustis; grandson Paul Nutter and wife, Jenny, Mt. Dora; and grandson Mike Nutter and wife, Beth, Ft. Wayne, IN. Also surviving are 9 great-grandchildren Katie, Brad, Ryan, Grace, Kelsey, Cara, Carson, Katelynn, and Molly. Interment will be in Napoleon, OH, at Glenview Cemetery next summer. Arrangements by Harden Pauli Funeral Home, Eustis, Florida.
