Isabelle Mae Belton (Karnes), 91, of Tavares, Florida, peacefully passed away on December 10, 2024. Originally from Bedford, Virginia, she moved to Tavares in 2018, having spent many years in Clewiston, Florida. Isabelle dedicated her life to education (53 years) as a Home Economics Teacher and was a member of the Future Homemakers of America, Theta Sigma Upsilon, Theta Sigma Epsilon and an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Clewiston.
Isabelle is lovingly remembered by her two sons, Robby (Diana) Belton and Randy Belton (Dianah), both of Tavares, FL, and her daughter, Lisa Santamaria (Vince) of Winter Park, FL. She was proud to be the grandmother of seven: RJ, Patrick, Julie, Jeff, Elle, Sophia, and Max, as well as two cherished great-grandchildren, Brittley and Bryson. Isabelle is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Robert "Bob" Belton of Tavares, FL, and her 3 brothers, "JB" Karnes (Charlotte) of Bedford VA, Jack Karnes (Brenda) Seymour, IN, Eddie Karnes (Connie) Seymour, IN.
A funeral service honoring Isabelle's life will be held at the Harden/Pauli Funeral Home in Eustis on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 2:00 PM, with interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Eustis. The family will welcome friends for a visitation at the funeral home starting at 1:00 PM until the time of the service. Flowers are welcome, and memorial donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church, located at 331 West Osceola Avenue, Clewiston, FL 33440.
