Irene M. Belcher

Irene M. Belcher, 92, of Altoona, passed away Friday, February 25, 2011. Born in Sligo, Pennsylvania, she moved to Eustis in 1976 from Welch, West Virginia. After moving to Eustis, she continued working all the way into her 80's She was a member of the First Church of God, Eustis, where she was very active till the last few years. Irene is survived by her daughter, JoAnn Westbrook, Altoona, FL; grandchildren, Dawn (Daniel) Colvin, Kenneth (Karla) Westbrook, Gregory Westbrook, Timothy (Jennifer) Westbrook, Heather (Ken) Jones; great-grandchild, Lauren Colvin; 9 step-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, George E. Belcher, sisters, Joan (Eli) Jacovitch, Lucille (Bob) England, Kathleen (Sam) Jones, Betty (Henry) Blankenship, Mary (Harold) Burks; son-in-law, Kenneth H. Westbrook; nephews, John Marushia, Harry England; and step-great-grandchild, William Westbrook. Services will be held at First Church of God, Eustis on Friday, March 4, 2011 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Eustis. The family will receive friends at the Harden/Pauli Funeral Home Chapel, Eustis on Thursday evening from 6-8 PM.
