Howard Wade, 82, of Tavares, passed away Friday, November 22, 2013. Born in Astatula, Florida, he graduated from Tavares High School Class of 1949. He received his BA & Master's Degrees from the University of North Alabama (Florence State). He retired after 32 years in Education; 22 as principals in Hernando County. He was at Mitchell Black Elementary in Brooksville for his last 9 years. Howard was a member of First Baptist Church, Tavares, was a member of the Bahia Shrine where he was the past president of the Tin Lizzies. He served in the Marine Corps during Korea. Howard is survived by 4 children; 3 step-children; and 12 grandchildren. Services will be held at First Baptist Church, Tavares on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell. The family will receive friends at the Church prior to the service from 9:30 till 10:30 AM.
