December 7, 1941 — January 17, 2012

Herman John Walter Hueneke, 70, of Frostproof, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2012. Born in Orange, New Jersey, he was a well-traveled, adventurous man who lived in many places including New Jersey, Sevierville, Tennessee, Detroit, Michigan, West Palm Beach, Daytona Beach, Wildwood, Tavares, Oxford, Wauchula & Frostproof. He was handy, hardworking, jack-of-all-trades who worked jobs in farming, car sales, water treatment, vehicle reposession, produce distribution, vehicle restoration & insurance. He enjoyed nature and animals, especially cane-pole fishing and had two pet chihuahuas, Chi-Chi and Dummy. He was a resourceful, private man who believed in too many conspiracy theories. He was ready for Y2K by purchasing gas masks and water filters. He showed his love in unusual ways by giving those items to everyone. He is survived by his 2 sons, Philip Hueneke, Orlando, FL, Lucas Hueneke, Orlando, FL; daughter, Lydia Hueneke, Orlando, FL; sister, Marie Chowanski, Longwood, FL.
