Hazel Irene Watson

Hazel Irene Watson, 77, of Eustis ascended to heaven to live with our Lord and Saviour on Saturday, March 31, 2012. She left this world where she was surrounded by so much love and left memories that will forever last in the hearts and minds of anyone who ever met her. Irene was born on September 21, 1934 to Clarence "William" and Annabelle Elizabeth (McKinzey) Maxwell. She was the eldest daughter, with her sisters Maxine (Maxwell) Vandervort and Donna (Maxwell) Heaven. Irene was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Maxine. Over the years, Irene worked and operated her own drapery business out of her home in Shippenville. She custom-made curtains and draperies for many years. Later in life, Irene moved to Florida to spend time with her beloved daughter Cheryl Ann (Watson) Finotti and her husband Richard Finotti in Eustis, Florida. Irene also enjoyed spending time and talking with her son Dana "Dan" Watson of Wichita Falls, Texas. She enjoyed the beautiful Florida weather and enjoyed all that her wondrous life had to offer. She was blessed with three grandchildren, Jason William Finotti, who preceded her in death, Jayme Nicole (Finotti) Dehner and her husband Michael of Clarion, PA, and Justin Richard Finotti and his wife Avery of Eustis, Florida. Irene cherished her time with her grandchildren but absolutely loved spending time with her great-grandchildren, Morgan Elizabeth and Login Michael Dehner of Clarion, PA, and Reese Garland Finotti of Eustis, Florida. She was anxiously awaiting the addition of a fourth great-grandchild due in September. Irene was a graduate of Clarion High School in 1952. In 1954, Irene married Norman "Jack" Watson, Jr., who lives in Wichita Falls, Texas with their son Dan. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
