Harriett S. Byers

Harriett S. Byers, 75, of Apopka, passed away Sunday, April 8, 2012. Born in Huntington, West Virginia, she moved to Apopka in 1998 from Murphy, North Carolina. She was an Emergency Room Secretary and was a member of Grace Pointe Church, Apopka. Harriett is survived by her husband, Franklin D. McCoy, Apopka, FL; 3 sons, David M. (Flossie) Jones, Astatula, FL, Dean M. (Nan) Jones, Groveland, FL, Dale M. (Tammy) Jones, Tacoma, WA; brother, James M. Ferrell, Wilmington, NC. She was preceded in death by her brother, Hugh Newton. She was a mother of 3, but a mom to many. A memorial service will be held at Grace Pointe Church, Apopka on Friday, April 13, 2012 at 2:00 PM. Interment will be at Sorrento Cemetery, Sorrento.
