Harley Ray Saxton, 70, of Mount Dora, FL passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2021 surrounded by his family. Born in New Castle, Pennsylvania, he moved to Painesville, Ohio where he attended Riverside High School. After high school, he moved to Palm Springs, FL where he married the love of his life Patty Ann and raised two children. Harley started his own business, East Coast Pest Control, where he met many wonderful lifelong friends. In 1995 he sold his business and accepted a position with the School District of Palm Beach County as a Facilities Manager. In 2016, he retired to Mount Dora, FL where he enjoyed spending time between Ohio and Florida. Harley was known as Mr. Fix-It always working on a project. He would be the first to volunteer help when someone was in need. He loved spending time with his friends and family, especially his grandchildren in later years. He also enjoyed camping, cooking, and going to classic car shows with friends. Harley’s smile was infectious and will be greatly missed. Harley is survived by his Wife, Patricia Ann Saxton of Mount Dora, FL; Son, Kevin Saxton of Mount Dora, FL; Daughter, Kelli Palmer of Madison, OH; Brothers, Doug Saxton of Fern Creek, KY and Bill Saxton of Palm Springs, FL; Sister, Beverly Paugh of Mentor, OH; 3 Grandchildren, Kevin Ray Saxton, Christopher Ray Saxton and Kendall Palmer; and by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. He is predeceased by his Sister, Pat Brown. A celebration of Life will be held Saturday June 12, 2021 at 11:00 am at Crossroads Community Church in Madison, Ohio. Online Guestbook available at
