H. Jean Borden

H. Jean Borden, 96, of Grand Island, passed away Sunday, February 26, 2017. Born in Marion County, Ohio, she moved to Lake County in 1981 from Miami, FL. She was a secretary with the Ohio State Legislature. Jean loved to grow flowers and vegetables, she was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Eustis where she was active with Circle Two. Jean belonged to the American Legion Auxiliary since 1931 and the Women for Hospice & Cornerstone Hospice. She is survived by her step-son, Donn Thomas, Ronan, MT; 2 nephews, Howard (Karen) Foltz, Lima, OH, David (Jeannine) Foltz, Greenville, OH; 3 grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Harden/Pauli Funeral Home, Eustis on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 10:00 AM.
