Gregory M. Brewer, 62, of Deland, passed away Friday, April 13, 2012. Born in Miami, Florida, moved to Deland in 2002 from Jacksonville, FL. He last worked as a Chef. Gregory was a rocovering alcoholic and was a proud member of Alcoholics Anonymous. He is survived by his father, Malvin Brewer; 2 sons,Johnathan Brewer, Mickey Brewer; 2 daughters, Darcy Brewer, Amy DeJesus; brother, Michael (Elizabeth) Brewer; 2 sisters, Sandra Vancurler, Janice Reineke. A memorial service will be held at Harden/Pauli Funeral Home, Eustis on Monday, April 30, 2012 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Eustis. In lieu of flowers, Gregory would tell you to "Be nice to a person, a charity or an animal shelter."
