She was a Head Cashier for A&P Supermarkets and was a member of Family Bible Church, Eustis. She is survived by her son, Richard M. Hatfield of Umatilla, FL; daughter, Kathy Wilson of Umatilla, FL; 6 brothers, Elmer Hughes of Wise, VA, Gene Hughes of Norton, VA, Charlie Hughes of Wise, VA, Kurt Hughes of Tacoma, VA, Richard Hughes of Wise, VA, Tom Hughes of Richmond, VA; sister, Mary Taylor of Tacoma, VA; 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Services will be held at future date. Interment will be at Powell Valley Memorial Gardens, Big Stone Gap, VA.
