Glenn Allen Waldrop, 81, of Eustis, FL, passed from this world and graduated to Heavenly glory on Saturday, March 18th, 2017. He was born in Murray, Kentucky to Robert and Opal Waldrop, and he moved to Florida in 1960. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served honorably as a Lieutenant on active duty and in the Army Reserve. In 1997, Glenn retired as an Inspector in Charge with the United States Department of Agriculture, after 37 years of service. Glenn was a longtime member of LifePointe Church (formerly known as First Baptist) in Eustis, FL, and he was very active in Missions work, participating in numerous Carpenters for Christ/Builders for Christ mission trips both inside and outside the United States over the years. Glenn loved and cherished his family, and he was loved and cherished by them. He was a wonderful husband, brother, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He is predeceased by his parents, as well as by his daughter, Sharon Anthony. Glenn is survived by his wife, Eunice Waldrop of Eustis, FL, daughter Renee Godwin (Devin) of Grand Island, FL, daughter Angela Eddins of North Fort Myers, FL, son Timothy Horton (Melissa) of Leesburg, FL, nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, many wonderful friends and countless others into whose lives he introduced the love of his Savior, Jesus Christ.
