Glenda Carole Long, aged 86, of Eustis, Florida, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 24, 2025. Born in Pullman, West Virginia, Glenda moved to Eustis in 1990, having previously lived in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. A devoted homemaker, she took great joy in sewing and quilting, pursuits that showcased her creativity and dedication. Glenda was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Mount Dora, Florida, where she found community and companionship. Her nurturing spirit touched the lives of many, especially her beloved family. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon L. Long (Priwan Tantrakool) of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; her sister, Lee Smith of Dalhart, Texas; her half-sister, Nancy Gregg; and her half-brother, Steve Gregg. Glenda cherished her role as a grandmother, leaving behind a legacy of love through her grandson, Ian Long of Tavares, Florida, and her granddaughters, Katelyn Long and Erica (Christian) Schlank. She also was a proud great-grandmother to Ethan and Conor Schlank. Glenda is predeceased by her husband, John Long, Sr., and their son, John W.
