Gladys M. Hammond

Gladys M. Hammond, 89, of Leesburg, passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2014. Born in Covington, Kentucky, she moved to Delray Beach, FL in 1962, to Altamonte Springs, FL in 1989 and to Lake County in 1996. She was a Homemaker and a member of Grand Island Baptist Church. Gladys loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Gladys is predeceased by her Husband, Oakley Van Hammond; She is survived by her Sons and Daughters-in-law, Gary and Eleanor Hammond of Leesburg, FL, and Robert and Cathy Hammond of Port Saint Lucie, FL; Sister, Katheryn Pyle of Tampa Bay, FL and 7 Grandchildren and 8 Great-Grandchildren. Services will be held at Harden/Pauli Funeral Home Chapel, Eustis on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at 1:00 PM. Entombment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, Forest City. The family will receive friends at the Harden/Pauli Funeral Home Chapel, Eustis on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 from 12:00 Noon till 1:00 PM prior to service.
