Georgia M. Hilt, 88, of Grand Island, passed away Monday, July 18, 2011. Born in Shelbyville, Indiana, she moved to Grand Island in 2005 from Shelbyville, Indiana. She had been a winter resident since 2002. She was a Homemaker, was a member of the Grand Island Resort Social Club, the Red Hat Society, VFW Ladies Auxiliary and Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, Shelbyville, IN. Georgia is survived by her 3 sons, John S. Hilt, Grand Island, FL, Joseph Hilt, Franklin, IN, Kenneth Hilt, Grand Island, FL; daughter, Nancy Hilt Emory, Tecumseh, OK; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
