George Joseph Speranzo, 67, of Deltona, FL, passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2018. Born in Queens, NY, he moved to Deltona in 1980 from Altamonte Springs, FL. George was a General Contractor working in both residential and commercial construction. George was a drummer and he performed in many bands since his youth and loved classic rock music. He loved the Smokey Mountains around Gatlinburg, TN. He was a real meat and potatoes kind of guy. He loved big cars and trucks and he was a strong supporter of the National Rifle Association, and of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. George is predeceased by his wife, Kathryn L. Speranzo, whom he met in 1970 and was a loving husband to her for 47 years. He is survived by his Son and Daughter-In-Law, Chris and Jackie Speranzo of Deltona, FL; Daughter and Son-in-Law, Lisa M. Speranzo and Rambo Ramirez of Sanford, FL, Grandchildren, Arden Geffen, Abrielle Speranzo and George Joseph Speranzo-Ramirez; and many extended family and friends. A Celebration of George's Life will be held at the Speranzo Residence on Saturday, September 22, 2018 from 1:00 PM - 10:00 PM. Friends may contact Lisa M.
