George Daniel Laemont III (“Dan”), 83, of Eustis, passed away peacefully in his home overlooking Lake Eustis on Tuesday, September 15th, 2020. Born in Cicero, Illinois to the late George II and Helen Laemont, he and his wife moved to Eustis in 1988 from Gwynedd Valley, Pennsylvania. He was the Director of Marketing and Sales for Pringle Development from which he retired from in 1999. Three years later, Dan was asked to return to the company as a Consigliere. He loved mentoring those who wanted to start their own business through S.C.O.R.E. (Service Corps of Retired Executives), along with being a Certified Mediator with the State of Florida 5th Circuit Court. Dan served his Country in the U.S. Navy in Sonar Operation aboard the submarine 483. He is survived by his son, Keith (Patricia) Laemont (Pittsboro, NC); daughter Laura (Paul) Zimmerman (Newborn, GA), half-brother Daryl Waszak (Athens, GA); 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
