Gary Louis Miceli

Gary Louis Miceli, 76, of Altoona, Florida, passed away Monday, September 5, 2022. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Gary moved to Florida in 1995 and to Altoona, FL in 2017 from the Florida Keys. Gary served in the U.S. Army and worked in law enforcement as a U.S. Customs Agent and a U.S. Sky Marshall.

As of late, Gary was working security at Lakeview Terrace Retirement Community in Altoona, FL. Gary enjoyed playing softball, spending time with his pets and laughing at human nature.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents Lou and Rose Miceli, by his brothers Louis Miceli and Charles Miceli and his son Peter Russell. He is survived by his sons Thomas Miceli and Joseph Miceli; their mother Judith Miceli; daughter in law Vanessa Miceli and grandchildren Thomas Miceli Jr., Makenna Miceli, Peter Russell Jr.; nieces Andreana and Bridget Miceli; their mothers Debra Miceli & Patricia Miceli; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.

As his last request, his family will be spreading his ashes at Short Stop at his favorite baseball field on Leroy and Hudson Street in NYC.
