Gary Lee Hawkins

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Gary Lee Hawkins, aged 72, on Saturday, March 29, 2025, in Tavares, Florida. Born in Salem, Ohio, Gary moved to Central Florida in 2023 from Duluth, Georgia. A dedicated professional, he made significant contributions to the Television Broadcasting Industry as a Chief Engineer, Senior Video Engineer and Project Manager. Gary worked at Turner Studios in Atlanta for 14 years and in broadcast studios in Phoenix, AZ, Little Rock, AK. and Orlando, FL He had the opportunity to support broadcasts from the Nagano and Sydney Olympics and Superbowl 2018. Gary will be remembered by his three daughters, Leanne, Stacy, and Lauren, his son, Alec and his six grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, David C. (Maria K.) Hawkins of Anthony, NM and his sisters Karen Parrish, Cheryl (Kurt) Hoag, and Debbie (Steve) Evans, all residing in Tavares, FL. An online guestbook is available at www.hardenpauli.com.
