Ferdinando "Fred" Broccolo, 84, of Eustis, passed away Monday, June 29, 2015. Born in Bayville, New York, he moved to Eustis in 1985 from Locust Valley, Long Island, New York. He was an owner & operator of a butcher shop prior to moving to Florida. Once in Florida, he worked maintenance for Faith Lutheran Church & School in Eustis for over 25 years. He was a member of the Locust Valley Fire Dept. where he was Ex-Captain of the Police Unit for 39 years and was a life-member of the exempts association, member of the Italian/American Club and was a member of St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church, Eustis. Fred is survived by his 2 sons, Fredrick (Suzanne) Broccolo, Fredericksburg, VA, Richard (Geri) Broccolo, Orlando, FL; son-in-law, Dennis Fouts, Mount Dora, FL; 2 brothers, William Broccolo, The Villages, FL, Frank Broccolo, Arizona; 9 grandchildren, Richard (Lindsey), Keith, Joseph, Fred, Christopher, Patrick, Jonathan, Jamie & Jordan; 2 great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Brinley and 1 on the way. Graveside services will be held at Greenwood Cemetery, Eustis on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at 10:00 AM. The family will receive friends at the Harden/Pauli Funeral Home, Eustis on Monday, July 6, 2015 from 5:00 till 8:00 PM.
