Frankye L. Stough, 83 of Tavares passed away May 11, 2010 at Hospice House in Tavares. Born in Twist, AR, she moved to Tavares in 1961 from Memphis, TN. Frankye retired from Precision Meters as an Accounting/Office Manager in 1990. She was a past Board member of the Sunshine Christian Homes and most recently volunteered at the Welcome Center at Mid Lakes Christian Church in Tavares. In the true sense of the word Frankye was the matriarch of her family, we loved her very much and will miss her. Frankye was predeceased by her husband, James “BO” Stough and son, James F. Lloyd Jr. She is survived by sister, Ruby Witt, Tavares, FL; son, Jason (Lisa) Stough, Orlando, FL; step-daughter, Jamie (Wayne) Gaabo, Edisto Beach, SC, 3 grandchildren, Rene’ Lloyd, Grove City, OH, Joshua Stough, Orlando, FL, Jacqueline Stough, Orlando, FL; great-granddaughter, Cheyenne Saylor, Grove City, OH, daughter in law, Jean Lloyd, Eustis, FL; several nieces and nephews and many good friends. A memorial service will be held at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell on Thursday, May 20 at 10 AM with Doug Dykstra officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in her name to Cornerstone Hospice with whom the family will forever be grateful for their care, kindness and comfort.
