Frank Lawrence Simon

Frank Lawrence Simon of Grand Island, Florida went to be with our Lord and Savior on Sunday, June 28, 2015. He was born on August 11, 1941 in Queens, NY to George and Ethel Simon. He moved to Florida in 1985 from Centereach, NY. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Sharon; sons, Michael (Dawn McNulty), Brian (Kathleen); six grandchildren, Kevin, Tammara, Justin, Ashley, Leanne and Shea. He is also survived by 2 sisters, Nancy (Fred) Schalck and Patricia (Patrick) Regan. He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers. He established his own Custom Interior Window Treatment Business in 1969 and retired in 2004. His hobbies included boating, motorcycle riding and car shows, where he won several awards for his 2007 Ford Mustang Convertible. He served in the United States Navy, MB3, was a member of the National Association of Fleet Tug Sailors and a former member of the United States Power Squadron, Old Field Point, Port Jefferson, Long Island where he served as commander in 1977-1978. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and led a full life for 73 years. The family will receive friends at the Harden/Pauli Funeral Home Chapel, Eustis on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 from 12 noon till 4pm.
