Floyd Miller, 80, of Brunswick, GA, passed away Friday, September 1, 2023. Born in Homer, Illinois to the late Earl & Lola Miller, he moved to Brunswick in 1999 from Champaign, Illinois. He loved racing motorcycles and was an avid race fan of anything that had wheels; particularly Sprint Cars, NHRA Drag Racing, and Formula 1. After moving to Georgia, he bought a boat and took advantage of every opportunity to be on the water. He was a Past Commander of Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 10-10 in St. Simons Island. Before his retirement in 2014, he worked as the advertising manager for the Brunswick News. He also owned two different businesses earlier in his career. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Barbara Miller, Brunswick, GA; 3 daughters, Kelly (Tom) Bacon, Elk River, MN, Christin (Mike) Quinones, Winter Springs, FL, Bonnie Clement, Eustis, FL; son, Jack (Sheila) Clement, Chelmsford, MA; sister, Doris Marsh (Dave), Saint Joseph, IL; 2 grandchildren, Harley Clement and Miller (Amy) Quinones.
