Everette Douglas Evans

Everett Douglas Evans, 80, of Leesburg, passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2013. Born in Norwich, Connecticut, he moved to Leesburg in 1996 from Preston, Connecticut. He was a Machinist Working on Submarines and served in the U.S. Navy during Korea. Everett was a Volunteer Fire Fighter, Volunteered with the Lake Yale Estates and was a member of the Eagle Squadron RC Club. He is survived by his Wife, Muriel E. Evans of Leesburg, FL; Son, Douglas Evans of Harpswell, ME; Daughter, Lori Showers of Stevens, PA; Sistes, Barbara Misorek and Gloria Evans, both of Norwalk, CT; 7 Grandchildren Brian, Benjamin, Kayley, Brianna, Nicole, Brittany and Shain. A memorial service will be held at the Lake Yale Estates Clubhouse, Leesburg, on Sunday, May 5, 2013 at 3:00 PM.
