Evelyn Marie Stofan

Evelyn “Boots” Stofan, 87, passed away April 28, 2016 in Leesburg, FL. She was born June 22, 1928, in Ashtabula, Ohio. She is survived by her loving husband, Loel Stofan, to whom she was married for 69 years, her son, Wayne (Judy) Stofan of Mayfield Hts.; son-in-law, Harry Ruer of Eustis, FL; grandchildren; Paula (Ray) Schrandt, Douglas Wiseman, Duane (Colleen) Stofan, Gina Stofan and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sharon Ruer; parents, George Heath and Lillian (nee: Welton) Heath Davis and brother, George Heath. A memorial service will be held at the Silver Lake Community Church, Leesburg, FL on Tuesday, May 24 at 3:00 PM. Boots’ loving spirit was part of her everyday world and the family requests in lieu of flowers that her friends do a random act of kindness in her honor.
