Ernest George Engelhardt

Ernest George Engelhardt, 88, of Umatilla, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2023. Born in Hartford, Connecticut, he moved to Mount Dora in 1975 from Myrtle Beach, SC. He retired from the US Air Force as a Senior Master Sergeant after service in both Korea & Vietnam. Following his military career he worked and later retired again fro Coca Cola. Ernest was a member of First Baptist Church, Tavares. He is survived by his wife, Tokiko K. Engelhardt, Umatilla, FL; son, Ernest G. Engelhardt, Orlando, FL; daughter, Alesa J. (Ron) McNeil, Tokyo, Japan; granddaughter, Amy Engelhardt McNeil. Military graveside services will be held at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell on Friday, June 2, 2023 at 10:00 AM.
