Ella Mae Matthews

Ella Mae Matthews, 93, of Eustis, Florida, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2022. Born in New Iberia, Louisiana, she moved to Florida in 1996 from Lake Charles, Louisiana. She was a member of the St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church, Eustis. Ella loved her Golden Senior Breakfast Group and would meet with them often. She is survived by her son, Irving J. Matthews of Orlando, FL; daughter, Emily A. Matthews-Lee of Eustis, FL; 6 grandsons, Richard Lee (Suzanne), Rodrick Lee, Rendall Lee (Daviona), Marcus Matthews (Janel), Jonathan Matthews (Brooke), Darren Matthews (Candace); 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. The family will receive friends at the Harden/Pauli Funeral Home, Eustis on Sunday, July 10, 2022, from 4:00 till 6:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church, Eustis on Monday, July 11, 2022, at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Eustis. Flowers are accepted or memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in honor of Ella M. Matthews.
