Easter Paras Omandam Byrne, 61, of Eustis, passed away Thursday, January 4, 2024. Born in Cebu City, Philippines, she moved to Eustis in 1994 from Los Angeles, California. Easter attended the Immaculate Conception College, Ozamis City, in Mindanao, Philippines. She completed her Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, with a Major in Accounting. She was the Business Manager formerly for St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church, Eustis and most recently for St. Peter Catholic Church, Deland. She also previously worked for Florida Hospital/Waterman in the Emergency Department. Easter is survived by her husband, Desmond E. Byrne, Eustis, FL; 2 brothers, Lyndon Paras Omandam, Philippines, Roy Paras Omandam, Houston, TX; sister, Dale Omandam Echeveria, Philippines; as well as many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Peter Catholic Church, Deland on Friday, February 16, 2024, at 11:00 AM. She will be laid to rest with her family in the Philippines.
