Dorothy M. White, a native of Tavares, FL and a longtime resident of Spanish Fort, AL died Sunday, May 12, 2013 in a local hospital. A member of East Pointe Baptist Church, Mrs. White was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt who lived a Christian life and taught others by example. She was raised in Tavares, FL, was a 1960 graduate of Tavares High School and was employed for many years at the Spanish Fort Elementary School Cafeteria. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Donald D. White; three children, Robin Young, Donna (Richard) Cayton, and David White; one sister, Teresa Cheatham; one brother, Buck Miller; four grandchildren, Summer Tomasello, Aly Young, Garrett White, and Joey White; nieces, nephews, and other relatives. A graveside service will be held at Taylor Memorial Cemetery, Howey in the Hills on Friday, May 17, 2013 at 1:30 PM.The family will received friends at Harden-Pauli Funeral Home, Eustis on Thursday evening from 5 P.M. until 7 P.M.
