Dorothy H. Miller Hammond

Dorothy H. Miller Hammond, 86, of Tavares, passed away Monday, January 3, 2011. Born in New Brockton, Alabama, she moved to Tavares in 1954 from Ozark, Alabama. She worked with Lake Region Packing Association from 1954-1984 when she started working with Rufus Pace Mobile Home Sales, where she worked till 1994. Dorothy was a member of First Baptist Church of Tavares. She is survived by her 3 sons, Billy R. (Ellen) Clark, Sr., Tavares, FL, Jerry F. (Jean) Miller, Tavares, FL, Donald L. (Linda) Miller, Sr., Ocala, FL; daughter, Faye (Tom) Osebold, Tavares, FL; 3 sisters, Hazel Spears, Eustis, FL, Irene Pugh, New Caney, TX, Joyce Riggsbee, Alamo, TN; 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Services will be held at First Baptist Church, Tavares on Friday, January 7, 2011 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Lakeside Memory Gardens, Eustis. The family will receive friends at the Harden/Pauli Funeral Home Chapel, Eustis on Thursday evening from 5:30 - 7:30 PM.
