Doris Lorraine Francis

Doris Lorraine (Waterfield) Francis, 83, of Eustis, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2013. Born in Providence, Rhode Island in 1929, she raised her family and worked in the family business, Bluebird Laundry and Dry Cleaners in Hamburg, NY before retiring and moving to Lake County in 1982. She volunteered for Meal on Wheels and her hobbies included a lifelong love of sewing and quilting, sharing many happy hours crafting with her daughter. A loving wife & mother, she is survived by her husband of over 60 years, Albert L. Francis, Eustis, FL; son, Stephen (Mary) Francis, Salisbury, MA; daughter, Susan (Fred) Thinnes, Janesville, WI; 2 brothers, Richard (Beverly) Waterfield, Mount Dora, FL, Howard (Jean) Waterfield, Tavares, FL; 3 grandchildren, Stefanie (Brandon), Samuel, Elizabeth and 3 great-grandchildren, Londyn, Siena and Sara. Services will be held at Harden/Pauli Funeral Home Chapel, Eustis on Monday, April 29, 2013 at 12:30 PM. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:30 - 12:30 PM.
