Donald E. Stewart, 80, of Tavares,FL formerly of Ohio, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2013. Born in Dayton, Ohio, he moved to Tavares in 2006 from Delaware. He retired as Assistant Utility Director with the City of Hamilton, Ohio and formerly worked with Dayton (OH) Power & Light. Donald was a member of St. Philip Lutheran Church, Mount Dora, the American Legion, VFW & the US Power Squadron. He had a love of boating & fishing. Donald served in the US Army during Korea. He is survived by his wife, Paula Stewart, Tavares, FL; 3 daughters, Marguerite Newnam, Phoenix, AZ, Nanette Husband, Phoenix, AZ, Michelle Booher, Ricing Sun, MD; 2 brothers, James Stewart, Dagsboro, DE, Gregory Stewart, Xenia, OH; sister, Kathleen Moore, Xenia, OH; 4 grandchildren, Joshua, Michael, Marisa & Rachel. A memorial service will be held at St. Philip Lutheran Church, Mount Dora, FL on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at 11:00 AM. Military Graveside will be at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at 11:00 AM. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Philip Memorial Fund. Online Guestbook available at
