Diana Helzer Barringer, 70, of Eustis, passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2011. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she moved to Eustis in 1980 from Corpus Christi, TX. She was a Multimedia Artist, was a member of the Leesburg Art Association, Daytona Beach Art Association, the Artist Workshop of New Smyrna Beach, FL and a member of St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church, Eustis. She also worked as a Social Worker with Cornerstone Hospice for over 10 years. She is survived by 3 daughters, Damian M. Persinger of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Tina L. Broglin of Eustis, FL, and Bridgette F. Mahair of Lady Lake, FL; granddaughter, Danielle A. Broglin of Eustis, FL; great-grandson, Aryn Van King of Eustis, FL; nephew, Kirk King Hesington of Powell, MO; niece, Bonnie Sharon Hesington of Port Angeles, WA; nephew, Craig Hesington of Springfield, MO; niece, Kelly Martinez of Columbia, MO; and special friends, Earl Weydahl and Sam LaPalma, Yalaha, FL. A celebration of Diana's life will be held at Waterwood Subdivision Clubhouse in Yalaha off of CR48, on Sunday November 6, 2011 from 1-3 PM.
