Della M. Smith, 83, of Ferndale, passed away Friday, April 16, 2010. Born in Ferndale, Florida, she was a lifelong resident of Ferndale where she was Postmaster for many years. She was a member of Ferndale Baptist Church. Della is survived by her 5 sons, Charles "Chuck" Smith, Deland, FL, Arvel "Butch" Smith, Ferndale, FL, Michael "Mike" Smith, Sardis, GA, Robert "Rob" Smith, Ferndale, FL, William "Billy" Smith, Ferndale, FL; daughter, Linda Smith Ferguson, Ferndale, FL; 22 Grandchildren and 38 Great-Grandchildren. Services will be held at Ferndale Baptist Church, Ferndale on Monday, April 19, 2010 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Ferndale Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Harden/Pauli Funeral Home, Eustis on Sunday, April 18, 2010 from 6:00 PM till 9:00 PM.
