Dee Garland

Dee Garland, 80, Grand Island, FL, passed peacefully from the loving arms of family into the arms of Jesus on Friday, November 5, 2010. Born in Montana Mines, West VA, she moved to Grand Island in 1993 from Orlando, FL. She retired from the Credit Bureau of Orlando and was a member of Grand Island Bapt. Church. Dee is survived by her husband, Don Garland, Grand Island; daughters, Donna (Glenn) Cox, Orlando, FL, Denise (Chuck) Grant, Chattanooga, TN; brothers, Harry Robinson, Chattanooga, TN, Ballard Robinson, Baltimore, OH; sister, Satchie Robinson, Millersport, OH; 12 cherished grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister, Faye Sparks and brothers Warren and Joe Robinson. To all who were privileged to know her, Dee was the most precious wife, mother, grandmother and sister that anyone could ever be blessed with. Services will be held at Grand Island Baptist Church on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell. The family will receive friends at the Harden/Pauli Funeral Home Chapel, Eustis on Monday from 6:30-8:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Eastside Baptist Church Media Fund, 1900 S.
