David Moore, 64, of Apopka, FL passed away Sunday, December 29, 2019. Born in Geneva, New York on October 19, 1955, he moved to Central Florida in 1972. He was a career nurseryman and spent his first 42 years at White Sand Nurseries and most recently was happy to join the Halo Plant family in Sorrento. David was a member of the First Baptist Church of Geneva, NY. He was also a member of the Florida Farm Bureau. David enjoyed hunting and relaxing at his cabin in upstate New York with his family and friends. David was a huge Gator and Miami Dolphins football fan. He enjoyed boating, scenic drives in his convertible, antique cars, movies & television. Above all he loved his precious time with his family and especially his three little Tigers and the good ole USA! David is predeceased by his Parents, Col. Marshall and Cpt. Margaret Moore, and by his Brother, Lt. John B. Moore, killed in Vietnam. He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy E. Moore of Apopka, FL; his devoted children, Michelle (Mark) Hughes of Eustis, FL, John (Katie) Moore of Orlando, FL, Jennifer Moore of Orlando, FL, Austin (Anna) Lukas of Altamonte, FL, Brittany (David) Mansfield of Dallas, TX, and Caitlin Mansfield of San Francisco, CA; Brother, James (Regina) Moore of Lakeland, FL; Sisters, Peggy (Bob) Lama of Miami, FL, Marsha (Ed) Andrews of Richmond, VA; and by his beloved grandchildren, Mark, Matthew, Michael Hughes & Violet Lukas. Services will be held at Harden/Pauli Funeral Home Chapel, Eustis on Friday, January 10, 2020 at 11:00 AM. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 9, 2020 from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM and at 10:00 AM on Friday prior to the service. Interment will follow at Pine Forest Cemetery, Mount Dora.
