Darryl C. Wrobel

Darryl C. Wrobel, 69, of Tavares, FL passed away Monday, June 21, 2010, with his loving wife and brother Vic at his bedside. Born in Greensburg, PA, he moved to Howey-in-the-Hills in 1947. He was retired from banking and was of Presbyterian Faith. He was a graduate of Tavares High School Class of 1958, Louisiana State University and the University of Florida School of Banking. Darryl was an avid Gator Fan. He was a member of the Elks Lodge BPOE #1578 of Eustis and the American Legion Post 76 of Tavares, and a Veteran serving in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Sally M. Wrobel; father, Chester Wrobel, Howey In The Hills, FL; 2 brothers, Kerry Wrobel, Yalaha, FL, Vic Wrobel, Mount Dora, FL; sister, Donna Rowe of Roanoke, Ala. Services will be held at the Community Church, Howey-in-the Hills on Thursday, June 24, 2010 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Taylor Memorial Cemetery, Howey-in-the-Hills.
