Colette Marie Stock

Colette Marie Stock, 68, of Hamtramck, Michigan, passed away Friday, September 15, 2023. She was raised in Detroit, Michigan, along with her sister, Laetitia Stock, and brother, Brandan Stock. The daughter of Camille Adamkiewicz, affectionately known as Kiki, and Frank Stock, a Pearl Harbor survivor, she attended the University of Michigan and Henry Ford Hospital School of Nursing, before embarking on a decades long career in the healthcare field. She served as a dedicated practitioner who cared deeply for her patients, family and friends. She met the world with an unforgettable demeanor and laugh - leaving an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to share in her presence. Truly one of a kind, she was ours: a mother, sister, aunt, godmother, friend and unforgettable gift to this world. She is survived by her siblings, her son, Daniel Mayor, her nieces, Liza and Julia Abramson, and her many extended family members and friends. She was a parishioner of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Mt. Dora, Florida. Do not feel sadness because of her loss, but rather feel grateful for the opportunity to know her.
