Clara C. Byrd

Clara Cordelia Lawrence Byrd, 101, of Sale City GA, died Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at her home. Born May 15, 1918 in Winston County AL, she was the daughter of the late Charles Henry Lawrence and Cordelia Elmyra Adair Lawrence. Mrs. Byrd was a homemaker and attended Higher Ground Worship Center. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Edward Byrd; several brothers and sisters. Survivors include her son Ed Byrd of Sale City, GA; daughters, Jessie Marie Sorrell and William, Betty Jean Heimbach all of Atlanta GA, Vickie Lynn McGhee and Calvin of Eustis FL; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and extended family. Graveside services will be held 4:00PM Sunday, May 26, 2019 in Ferndale Cemetery in Ferndale FL.
