Charles W. Hamann, 97, of Leesburg, passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2017. Born in Washington, DC, he moved to Leesburg in 1994 from Rockville, Maryland. Charles served in the US Army during World War II, then was employed as a Cartographer for the Department of Defense. Charles was also a member of the Silver Lake Community Church of Leesburg, FL. He is survived by his Wife, Margaret W. Cochel of Leesburg, FL, Son, Terry W. Hamann of Austin, TX, Son, Charles B. Hamann of Washington, DC, Daughter, Kathy L. Watson of Frederick, MD, Daughter, Mary Jo Ringler of Flower Mound, TX, 7 Grandchildren and 6 Great-Grandchildren. Services will take place in Silver Spring, MD, with Interment at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Suitland, MD. Memorial donations may be made to the American heart Association ( https://donatenow.heart.org ).
