Charles E. A. Cordino, 88, of Grand Island, FL, passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2020. Born in Plymouth, MA, he moved to Grand Island in 2010 from Plymouth, MA . He was an instrumentation engineer working in both nuclear and chemical plants. He was a US Navy Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. Charles was of Catholic Faith. He enjoyed Sailing, Gardening and Oil Painting. He was a Life Member of the Plymouth Yacht Club, and was a member of the American Legion. He is survived by his Wife, Carole Cordino of Grand Island, FL; Son, Edward Cordino of Eustis, FL; Daughter, Charlene Copley of Altamonte Springs, FL; Grandchildren, Amanda, Justin and Colby; Great-Grandchildren, Autumn, Savannah, Dominik and Charlie; and by numerous extended family and friends, A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Military Honors will be held at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, on a date yet to be determined. Memorial donations may be made to Cornerstone Hospice, www.cornerstonehospice.org .
