Catherine Mancill Pearce

Catherine Mancill Pearce, 77, of Leesburg, passed away Saturday, January 21, 2017. Born in Bonifay, Florida, she moved to Leesburg in 2000 from Caryville FL. She worked at the Oakwood Center (now known as Bayview Center) as a laundry attendant prior to her retirement. Catherine was a member of the United Faith Assembly of God in Leesburg, FL. She loved taking care of her family, quilting, crocheting, gardening, canning, cooking and baking. She also enjoyed her word search puzzles. Catherine is predeceased by her Husband, Luther Monroe Pearce; She is survived by her Son, Kenneth (Bonnie) Pearce of Leesburg, FL; Daughter, Cynthia (Tom Sr.) Crisp and Kathryn (Kevin) Welch both of Cottondale, FL; Brothers, Archie Mancill, Jr. of Ferndale, FL and Carlton Mancill of Leesburg, FL; Sisters, Christine Green of Leesburg, FL and Patricia Callihan of Lisbon, FL; 9 Grandchildren and 16 Great-Grandchildren. Services will be held at United Faith Assembly of God, Leesburg on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow at Lakeside Memory Gardens, Eustis.
