Catherine Carpenter

Catherine Carpenter, 86, of Eustis, passed away Friday, March 20, 2015. Born in Highlands, North Carolina, she moved to Eustis in 1962 from Highlands, NC. She was a homemaker and was a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church of Eustis. Catherine is predeceased by her husband, John Carpenter; son, Shirley Carpenter; daughter, Cynthia Dooley; 2 brothers, Conner Webb, Glenn Webb; 3 sisters, Nevalee Byrd, Mozelle Derreberry, Rinda Kay Henry. She is survived by her Sons, Michael Carpenter of Murphy, NC, Wayne Carpenter of Dillard, GA, Morris Carpenter of Umatilla, FL, Randy Carpenter of Eustis, FL; and Timmy Carpenter of Mount Dora, FL; Daughters, Geraldine Rich of Eustis, FL and Gail Williamson of Eustis, FL; Brothers, Owen Webb of Clarksville, GA and Dwayne Webb of Hickory, NC; Sister, Zanthus Wilson of Franklin, NC, Joyce Wilburn of Rayburn Gap, GA and Donnavee Bradshaw of Tiger, GA; 23 Grandchildren and 35 Great-Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren. Services will be held at First Missionary Baptist Church, Eustis on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Eustis. The family will receive friends at the Church from 11:00 AM till 1:00 PM prior to service. Memorial donations may be made to the First Missionary Baptist Church.
