Carolyn Faye Phillips of PCB, FL passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully, at home January 2nd of 2013 at the age of 66. She is survived by her kids Charles Hancock Jr "Chucky" and Tina MacPhee, a sister Vivian McCain, two brothers Chuck Jackson and Robert Jackson. Her two beloved granddaughters Tiara Karban and Ashlyn Hancock and the newest member of her family, her great granddaughter Gabriella Kennard. Carolyn was a devoted christian and member of the Gulf Beach Baptist Church of PCB. A church she loved and was loved by everyone. Especially by the kids in her Sunday School class where she was a loyal volunteer and asset. Carolyn was known for her kindness and generosity throughout the entire community. This shined through in her love for helping and giving to others. Wether it was providing a hot meal for a family in need, or making a Christmas happen for children less fortunate. Even leaving groceries at peoples front door step. She was already an angel of God here on earth. Carolyn rejoined as a member of The Family Bible Church in Mount Dora where she loved the music and fellowship. She will be greatly missed. Carolyn loved to have fun and lived life to the fullest. She shared many wonderful memories with her bestfriend Patricia Turner "Patti" also of PCB FL. Carolyn loved to shop. She loved her yard sales, flea markets, consignment shopping and her favorite thrift stores. She collected many treasures through out the years and got excited to do so. Carolyn had a passion for cooking and baking and loved to share this with everyone. She also had an enormous love for dogs. No stray went unfed and usually ended up fostered in her home well loved until she could find a loving home for it. We know her dogs she left behind will join her in heaven one day.2
But, what Carolyn cherished the most was her love for her children. She said "grandkids are small people that take up your whole heart" and loved them unconditionally. She adored and loved her son Chucky and daughter Tina. They were told everyday she loved them. So mom, may you rest in peace knowing how much you were loved each and every minute of every day! Not only were you our Mother, but also our Best Friend.
We will miss and love you always!
