Carolyn Kay Montz, 58, of Eustis, passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2017 after a long and hard fought battle with Cancer. Born in Bluefield, West Virginia, she moved to Apopka, FL as a child with her family and graduated Apopka high school in 1977. She met the love of her life at spring garden nursery and quickly married her future husband Dale Montz. Carolyn Montz lived and loved life to the fullest and loved being a kid at heart. She enjoyed shopping, swimming, movies, and watching her favorite football team FSU. She loved any and all animals if they needed to be feed she would feed them and care for them, never selfish always giving if you needed anything she was there. Believed and trusted her faith in god’s hands and she is now in heaven with all her family and relatives that have past. Carolyn is survived by her husband of 36 years, Dale Montz; 3 Sons, Andrew Montz, Matthew Montz, Chad Montz; 2 Brothers, David Turner, Randy Turner; 1 Sister, Gail Zimmerman; 3 Grandchildren, Josilyn Montz, Christian Montz & Austin Montz. Services will be held at First Baptist Church, Umatilla on Tuesday May 9th at 2:00pm. Feel free to bring a dish are dessert and sit around and eat and share your own memories of how Carolyn Montz touched your heart.
