Carolyn Creighton

Carolyn Creighton , 68, of Umatilla, passed away Friday, August 31, 2012. Born in Franklin, North Carolina, she moved to Umatilla in 1996 from Lusby, Maryland. She loved gardening and flowers, being a member of the Umatilla Garden Club. She was a former member of the Chesapeake Ranch Club in Lusby, MD. She loved quilting, crocheting, knitting and ceramics. Carolyn is survived by her son, Bruce W. Creighton, Jr., Umatilla, FL; daughter, Maria Stoneberg, Umatilla, FL; mother, Marie Hedden, Candler, NC; 2 brothers, Michael Hedden, Orlando, FL, Roger Hedden, Miami, FL; 3 sisters, Bernice Bradshaw, Hayesville, NC, Gale Grooms, Candler, NC, Gladys Reisinger, Miami, FL; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws. Graveside services will be held at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at 1:00 PM. The family will receive friends at the Harden/Pauli Funeral Home Chapel, Eustis on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 from 9:00 AM till 11:30 AM.
