Carol Cody Mackie, 65, of Sorrento, passed away Monday, June 4, 2012. Born in Colorado Springs, Colorado, she lived in Lake County on and off since 1963 moving here permanently about 20 years ago. She worked as an Insurance Specialist with Workman Compensation and was an Episcopalian. Carol is survived by her husband, David I. Mackie, Sorrento, FL; daughter, Brette (Scott) Connor, Apopka, FL; brother, William Cody, Chester, VA; 2 sisters, Janet Gizelt, Eustis, FL, Sharon Trembath, Mexico; 2 grandchildren, Paris Benoit & Mackie Connor.
