Carl Eugene Begley, 87, of Mount Dora, FL, passed away Sunday, January 1, 2023. Born in Lexington, KY, he moved to Florida in June of 1979 and then moved to Mount Dora in 1995 from Orlando, FL. Carl was a true Entrepreneur. He was a Real Estate Broker, Auctioneer, Radio Announcer, Boat Captain, Pilot, Artist, Plant Manager of Rockwell International, President of Prestige Oil Services, Founder of Old Macdonald’s Dairy Farm, Owner of Consolidated Transportation, Owner of Begley Rentals, Owner of Jancy Pet Burial Services. He was a member of the Lion’s Club of Orlando, FL and Director of Bereaved of Homicide Survivors. Carl is predeceased by his Parents, Paul and Verna Begley; Son, Benjamin Bell; Brother, Jeff Begley. He is survived by his Wife, Dew Drop Begley of Mount Dora, FL; Daughters, Libby (Bob) Jopperi of College Park, FL, Mandy (Dave) Vatter of Eustis, FL, Paul Begley of Eustis, FL, Lynn Begley of Washington, Joyce Begley Washington, IN and Janet Rollins of Indiana; Grandchildren, Jeffrey Harmon, Emily Bellgarde, Lauren Ruiz, Matthew Jopperi, Ryan Begley and Conner Begley; and numerous great grandchildren, extended family and friends.
