Byron "Jack" Meyer, 80, of Eustis, passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2014. Born in Eustis, Florida, he worked as a construction supervisor. He was a former member of the Eustis Elks Lodge #1874. He was a Deacon & Trustee of Grand Island Baptist Church. Jack is survived by his wife of 60 years, Nellie A. Meyer, Eustis, FL; son, Byron Randal (Debi) Meyer, Eustis, FL; daughter, Teresa Ann (Richard) Bova, Clermont, FL; 2 brothers, Alva Dell "Buddy" Rich, Eustis, FL, Fredrick James "Freddie" Rich, Brevard, NC; 2 sisters, Betty Jo Buroker, Eustis, FL, Shirley Cushing, Eustis, FL; 2 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Services will be held at Grand Island Baptist Church, Grand Island on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 10:00 AM. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 9:30 - 10:00 AM.
